Sekondi Hasaacas on Sunday beat visiting Ashantigold Sporting Club 3-2 in their Onetouch Premier League match at the Sekondi Gyandu Park. Hasaacas who dominated the first half scored the first goal in the 20th minute through Samuel Inkoom after difficult situation time with their opponents.
With persistent attack, Hasaacas again came into the picture when Frederick Quayson scored the second goal for his side in the 35th minute.
Ashantigold fought back gallantly in search of the equaliser but were restrained by the defen ce of Hasaacas from causing any upsets until the end of the first half.
On resumption of the second half, Ashantigold started attacking from all sides which forced Hasaacas to tighten up their defence and holding the visitors from entering their penalty area.
In a sudden twist of event, a defender of Hassacas, Eric Owusu in the 68th minute, shot the ball into his own in an attempt to pass the ball to his keeper who was off his mark from the goal posts.
In the 71st, Isaac Donkoh scored the third goal for Hasaacas while Alex Asamoah of Ashantigold scored the second goal for his side in the 78th minute to bring proceedings to an end.
