Controversial football administrator, Alhaji Karim Grusah has reiterated his desire to see Kwasi Appiah replaced as Black Stars coach, insisting that the coach is not good enough.

According to the King Faisal Bank-roller, Ghana has always found it easy to qualify to the African Cup of Nations but winning the coveted trophy has become an illusion and Kwasi Appiah can't help in that regard.

Speaking on Atinka Total Sports on Thursday, Grusah, who has been a staunch critic of the Black Stars trainer minced no words in reiterating his stance on the former Asante Kotoko skipper.

“I’ve made my views clear on Coach Kwesi Appiah, I want him to go, he is not good enough", Grusah said.

"Don’t tell me he has beaten South Africa and São Tomé.

"Ghana has always found it easy to qualify for AFCON but to win it is the problem. Kwesi Appiah can’t help us", he added.

The Black Stars of Ghana, led by Kwasi Appiah started the 2021 African Cup of Nations qualifiers on an impressive note, beating South Africa 2-0 on the opening day at the Cape Coast Stadium before defeating Sao Tome and Principe 1-0 to lead the standings in Group C.

The Ghanaian trainer's contract as Black Stars Coach runs out in December and it's still unclear whether or not his reign will be extended.
