Heart of Lions head coach Bashir Hayford has challenged his squad to continue fighting and maintain their unbeaten run in the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.

The Kpando-based team has yet to taste defeat after three games, showing impressive form since the campaign began.

Heart of Lions started the season with a draw against Aduana Stars, followed by a crucial victory over Hearts of Oak in Week 2. Most recently, they earned a hard-fought 2-2 draw against Dreams FC in Week 3.

In his post-match interview, Coach Bashir Hayford emphasized the importance of maintaining focus and extending their unbeaten streak, urging his players to capitalize on their current momentum.

“We have played three matches and we have still not lost, so I think we are on the right path. I think it’s okay, and we have to capitalize on this and move forward. We need to maintain our undefeated status for some time, so this is what we are planning to do,” Coach Bashir Hayford told Heart of Lions TV.

Currently sitting in the top four of the league standings with five points from one win and two draws, Heart of Lions have shown resilience in their early season fixtures.

Looking ahead, the team will now turn their attention to their next challenge, a Week 4 clash against Bibiani Gold Stars.
