Coach Jones Attuquayefio, the Coach of Accra Hearts of Oak who also headed the technical bench of the Black Stars has described the decision to dismiss him by the GFA as stupid.

The Coach speaking to the BBC Sports team on Monday said, his dismissal as the head-coach of the Black Stars is not right.

The one time national football Star said, "I've since suspected something fishy in the GFA since Owusu Ansah assumed the second in command position of the GHALCA."

Asked whether he would fight it out, he answered, "I'll fight for what is due me."

But I've always suspected that the present GFA has a hidden agenda.

And if this is how they are going to organize football, then God save Ghana football.

In his view, until politics is divorced from the running, management, and organisation of football in Ghana, "we'll not get the needed results".

They made it difficult for me to win matches, and they came out accusing me.I changed to an all local team and started recording success, and they accused me and sacked me," Attuquayefio said.
