Hearts? Coach Reveals State Of Prepredness

COACH FRANCIS Oti-Akenteng of Hearts of Oak has revealed the state of preparedness of the present Premier Club following an 0-1 loss to first division side, Swedru All Blacks in a friendly encounter late last week.

According to the coach, the loss was one of the test cases that should right the wrongs of the present team, as it breaks so much sweat under the scorching sun to keep in shape, in anticipation of the Premier League competition as well as the continental Africa campaign.

The coach though it was one hell of a hectic match played under the most sporting conditions but then his virtually new side is just about getting to grips with the tactical and strategic play he wants the players to imbibe.

Coach Oti-Akenteng revealed that he has strategically split the team into two under the tags POSSIBLES and PROBABLES, and is working feverishly towards building two winsome sides that could answer any calls at once and produce quality results.

He assured that the early weeks were used to prepare the grounds for fitness because in the off-season, it so happens that player slide into their dull moments when reflexes become dull and muscles virtually go tired.

So determined to leave an indelible impression on the club before his tenure as coach ends up, Mr. Oti-Akenteng has been looking to strengthen all departments of the team in the hope that he could get the perfect blend.

In the past few weeks he has been playing couple of trial matches with supposed inferior sides, and has understandably lined up close to eight others he hopes to complete in 10 days.
