Hearts, Kotoko Play Outstanding League Matches

Accra Hearts of Oak return to action today to attempt to regroup and pursue another league title dream after the painful early exit from the Champions League. The Phobians come up this afternoon at the Accra Stadium against Sekondi Hasaacas to clear their 2nd week premier league match originally scheduled for May 18th.

The match was postponed owing to the then engagement of Hearts in a continental encounter. At the same time in Kumasi, league leaders Kumasi Asante Kotoko would put their unbeaten record on the line when they mass up against the twinkle twinkle little stars of Goldfields who nearly snatched three points from Hearts on their on home soil.

Of the two the Kumasi game look too difficult and explosive to miss as each other seems poised to improve their lot.

Goldfields have never been an easy nut for the cracking of the Porcupine Warriors even in Kumasi and if peace talks initiated recently by Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene and Life Patron of Kotoko to get the two camps to burry their differences are anything to go by, then a very good game can be anticipated. Like Kotoko, Goldfields are yet to lose in the three games played so far, with their only blemish being the away draw against Hearts.
