Hearts Record Two Victories Within 48-hrs

Accra Hearts of Oak?s season-break preparations saw them record impressive victories after winning two games within 48-hours against AshantiGold and Okwawu Utd on Saturday and Sunday.

Hearts in their first outing on Saturday against AshantiGold at the Len Clay stadium beat the miners 1-0 in a grudge encounter.

Emmanuel Osei Kuffour scored the match winner for the phobians.

For the phobians, it marked a sweet revenge after AshantiGold beat them 2-0 at the Accra Sports stadium in a pre-season friendly.

Back from Obuasi, Hearts of Oak took on Okwawu Utd at the Accra Sports stadium and ye again won the game through a lone goal scored by Louis Agyemang.

The Hearts of Oak striker connected a grounder directed at goal by Frank Turkson to win the game for the phobians.

But Hearts of Oak coach, Ernst Middendorp couldn't see his team play after he stormed out of the stadium long before kick off.

The Hearts coach is reported to have been upset with his player?s behaviour after the team showed up much later than 13:00 GMT stipulated time.
