Hearts board must be dissolved - Aziz Futah

Ex Hearts of Oak management member Aziz Haruna Futah has called for the immediate dissolution of the club’s board.

The board has come under intense pressure from the fans since the shocking dismissal of coach David Duncan.

The subsequent appointment of ex Ghana star Mohammed Polo has dwindle the fortunes of the Phobians in recent games.

Hearts have since fallen further behind in the Premier League title race while crashing out of the FA Cup to lower division club Gold Stars.

The ex-management member is now blaming the club’s board for the reverse fortunes of the club over their decision to sack Duncan.

“The board sacked the coach [David Duncan] without having the foresight of who to bring in,” he told Peace FM.

“So they had no option to bring in [Mohammed] Polo and it is not his fault.

“But now look at Hearts – a potential Premier League winner – and now look at the club.

“We are now third in the Premier League, seven points behind the leaders and out of the FA Cup competition.

“So it is clear the board has failed us and for that reason should be dissolved.”
