Head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, Frank Nuttall, says yesterday’s draw with arch-rivals was a fair reflection of what transpired within the 90 minutes and was content with the scoreline.
Yesterday’s Super Clash lived up to the billing with both sides sharing spoils in the outstanding week 23 fixture of the Ghana Premier League.
Kwame Kizito superb goal for Hearts was cancelled by Saddick Adams from the penalty spot.
According to Nuttall, they tried their best in going for all three points but upon reflection of the game, a draw was indeed a fair result.
“The players showed a lot of spirits and great motivation. There was no pressure on Kotoko. We scored a very good goal and I never saw them score in open play, so I was not surprised about the penalty,” Nuttall said in post match interview.
He added: ” We always try to go for the win and get all three points, but at the same time you would have to reflect and you’ve to accept that the draw was the result of the situation.”
