Hearts fans angry at Uriah's facebook comment

Accra Hearts of Oak marksman Uriah Asante’s comment on the social media platform, Facebook, urging arch-rivals, Asante Kotoko coach Maxwell Konadu to win the remainder of its league matches has incensed fans of the former.

“Who the hell does he think he is? There are better players than he is, why should he make such a comment, he thinks Hearts is like an ordinary team?,” Kassim,Chapter ‘O’ chairman vehemently stated on Happy FM.

“He shouldn’t forget that Hearts is a very big club and that we the supporters are not happy with his statement. He is very stupid and unprofessional, he should be careful,” he added.

Uriah Asante made the comment "I pray you win" on a status update by the Kotoko coach which stated "No retreat, no surrender @ berekum on Wednesday".

The status which is intended for the game between Kotoko and Berekum Chelsea at Berekum on Wednesday attracted a little over thirty comments from friends of the coach and Uriah who is part of his friends commented thus.

Hearts are trailing current league leaders Kotoko by nine points and are yet to play their arch rivals in the return leg fixture of the Glo Premier league.

This apparently harmless post on facebook which has drawn much attention will surely open the way to an exciting round of games in the week 20 fixtures on Wednesday.

Hearts of Oak travel to play Medeama SC in the mid-week Glo Premier League fixtures.
