Accra Hearts of Oak board chairman, Togbe Afede XIV has revealed that he and his board members have never known peace since they assumed office.
He made the statement during the club's Annual General Meeting on Wednesday at the Accra International Conference Center.
The investment banker and his board members have come under intense pressure over the management of the club but he believes the best is yet to come from the board despite the demands from the supporters.
“We have never known peace since we took over the club as board members. But let's be frank with you, among all the coaches who I have appointed under my reign Mohammed Polo has been the best so far.
“For your information the current coach Kenny Yatsuhashi applied for the Hearts job and we did not handpick him. But we will urge fans to be patient with our works because we want the best for Hearts,” Togbe Afede told Starr Sports.
Togbe Afede took over from Commodore Mensah as board chairman.
