Hearts of Oak Supporters Chief, Elvis Herman Hesse says the top brass of the club must explore the possibility of leaving the Accra Sports stadium as the team’s home venue.
According to Herman Hesse, a move from the Accra sports stadium will see an upturn in the fortunes of the club.
The call follows Hearts of Oak’s struggles at home in the ongoing campaign.
The Phobians have drawn the majority of their games at home with only two wins out of the 6 six games recorded at the Accra Sports Stadium after matchday 12 in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
Herman Hesse in an interview with the Accra based Happy FM said he is worried at the current trend in the club because despite the numerous efforts they have taken to solve their problems, they are still not getting the needed results in the league.
"I wish to suggest to the Board to look for a new venue and leave the Accra Sports Stadium. I will have a word with the players and if the stadium is the problem then we'll have to look for a new venue,” said Elvis Herman Hesse.
"I'm worried because we've tried to solve our problems but still the results are not coming. I'll plead with the supporters to exercise patience. I know it's heartbreaking but I plead with them to remain calm"
He further revealed that plans are underway to relieve some of the duties on interim coach, Edward Nii Odoom by appointing an assistant coach for him and also added that they have settled all financial issues with the playing body.
"Very soon we will get a new coach for the junior side and get Edward Nii Odoom an assistant coach because it is tiring for him to be training both the senior and junior sides"
