Hearts grow wild over Mahatma

Glorious Accra Hearts of Oak have cautioned the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Dr K.K. Sarpong, to stay off striker Mahatma Otoo.
Aziz Haruna Futah said Hearts of Oak were not happy about Dr Sarpong’s dealings with the goal poacher in recent times.
The Kotoko chief was reported to have started talks with Mahatma for a possible switch to Sunderland in the English Premiership.
Though no concrete deal had been reached so far, reports suggested the Hearts striker looked enthused about the offer.
Aziz said the Kotoko boss had no justification to deal with Hearts players without the consent of the club.
“Dr Sarpong should not interfere in matters concerning Hearts,” he warned on radio in Kumasi. Aziz asked Dr Sarpong whether he had finished selling Kotoko players, to warrant turning his attention on Hearts players.
