Hearts of Oak insist they will not jump at a flattering price to sell off their players unless suitable replacements are found.

The Phobians are reported to be in talks with Libyan club Al Ahli over the sale of defender Robin Gnagne.

Hearts are already in Tripoli on the invitation of the Libyan club for a double friendly.

Officials of both clubs are however using the opportunity to secure side-deals including the transfer of players.

But the Ghanaian giants say they will not sell any of their leading performers until they are convinced of finding a suitable replacement.

“It is not necessarily that when a club meets the asking price of Hearts of Oak then we sell a player,” Hearts spokesman Kwame Opare Addo said.

“We will be doing further analysis to for instance see whether we can get replacements for the player.

“It is only when a replacement is found that the club may be inclined to sell a player.”
