Hearts are hoping to firm up a deal to sign ex-Ghana youth defender Daniel Addo.
The former Ghana Under-20 star has been training with the capital-based side in the past few days in a bid to force a move to the club.
Addo, hugely regarded as one of the finest talents to have emerged from the West African country, has returned home after a botched career abroad.
The former King Faisal strong centre-back is a free agent after leaving Kazakhstani side Kairat FC.
Hearts are looking for stability in defense ahead of the new season with coach Herbert Addo believed to be an admirer of the talented youngster.
He was a member of Ghana’s Under-20 team which clinched gold at the 2009 World Youth Championship in Egypt.
