Accra Hearts of Oak midfielder Mustapha Essuman expects a very good game against Kotoko in this year’s President’s Cup on Friday.

The two most glamorous clubs in the country, Hearts and Kotoko, will renew their age-old rivalry in this year’s President’s Cup at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday to celebrate and honour the sitting President of Ghana, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama.

Hearts beat Asante Kotoko 5-4 on penalties last year, and Essuman, who is hoping to win his first ever trophy with the Phobians, says Hearts must win the cup.

“Matches between Hearts and Kotoko is a different ball game altogether, and so we are expecting a good game on Friday,” he told facebook.com/accraheartsofoak.

“We lost to them in the league but this is a cup game, and so we have to win and clinch the cup.

“The fans should come because with them on our side; we always do well. We cannot play without our fans because we are with them, and they are with us.

“With them, we always do well; we cannot go without them so we are pleading with them to come in their numbers to support us whether do-or-die; they should be with us. We love them.”
