Hearts of Oak coach Frank Nuttal has explained the reasons behind his late arrival for the team's pre-season training.
The Scottish took the team through their training drills at the Legon Ajax Park on Wednesday evening, having touched down in the country the night before.
The 49-year-old was posed with questions about the reasons behind his late arrival as the club commenced pre-season training last week Monday ahead of their upcoming Ghana@60 Years on match against arch rivals Asante Kotoko.
“There was never a fixed date for my arrival because when they season ended there was no 60th-anniversary game pending on 24th December, and that was new thing that happens during the close season," the former Gor Mahia trainer answered.
“So it took a bit a time to work out how we were going to approach the preparations and when and how we were going to start as well as organising tickets to get me back."
