Accra Hearts of Oak have released goalkeeper Ernest Sowah and defender Yusif Alhassan.
Both Sowah and Alhassan were frozen out at the Club as they failed to make the grade.
Coach Kim Grant has decided the let go of the pair who are now available for free.
“Goalkeeper Ernest Sowah and defender Yusif Alhassan have both been released from the club. We wish the two players the best of luck in their careers going forward,” the Club tweeted.
Sowah, one of the experienced goalkeepers on the local scene after stints with Tema Youth, Berekum Chelsea and Kotoko could not command the first-choice position at Hearts of Oak playing behind Richard Ayi and Ben Mensah.
Alhassan, on the other hand, could not make any competitive appearance for the Club.
