Hearts of Oak rule out Laryea Kingston move

Ghana Premier League side Hearts of Oak have rubbished talks of a possible move for former player Laryea Kingston who has been training with club for the past two weeks.

Kingson, released by Scottish club Heart of Midlothian, hopes to secure a move in the summer transfer window but has dropped no hint of his next destination.

Speculations have been rife following Kingston’s recent socialization with the club.

But the club have moved quickly to quell the rumuor insisting the club will not make any move for him

“He has been training with us for the past few weeks but that is how it goes. We have no intentions of luring back to the club,” Hearts of Oak spokesperson Albert Commey confirmed to Ghanasoccernet.com

“That has been the normal practice for him- anytime he is in the country he trains with us and I’m sure because he is without a club now that could have prompted such speculations.

“We know he has a contract in the offing and so will allow him to make his choice but at the moment it hasn’t even come up for discussion.”

The club have confirmed the 29-year-old will feature as a guest player in next Sunday SWAG Cup match against Ashantigold.
