Hearts of Oak are likely to lose seven first team players at the end of current season as those players’ contract will expire at the end of the ongoing campaign.
The players are in-form Thomas Abbey, Vincent Atingah, Robin Gnagne, Samuel Yeboah, Richard Yamoah, Leonard Tawiah and Kwame Kizito.
Aside Yamoah and Yeboah, the rest of the aforementioned players have played a key role in the club’s success this season.
Thomas Abbey
Abbey joined Hearts of Oak in the 2011/12 season, he signed a three-year deal. After his contract expired in 2014 he was offered another three-years and his current contract will run out at the end of the season.
Vincent Atingah
The stalwart guardsman moved to Hearts of Oak in 2014 from Dwarfs, he signed a three-year deal and he will be out of contract at the end of the season.
Robin Gnagne
The Ivorian import joined Hearts of Oak in 2013 from defunct Red Bull Academy, he signed a three-year deal which expired last season. And prior to the current season he extended his deal to one year.
Samuel Yeboah
The experienced forward signed a two-year deal with the Accra giants two seasons ago, his contract will expire at the end of the season.
The workaholic midfielder completed his move to Hearts of Oak in 2014. He penned down a three-year deal. The former Sekondi Hasaacas captain performance at the former Premier League has been curtailed by persistent injuries.
Leonard Tawiah
The lanky midfielder joined Hearts of Oak in 2014 as a free agent after signing a three-year deal. He has been one of the most improved players in the Ghana Premier League. His contract will end at the end of the current season.
Kwame Kizito
The tall lanky forward joined Hearts of Oak from third-tier side GloLamp Academy in 2014. The 21-year-old frontman signed a three-year deal. Kizito’s will contract come to an end at the end of the ongoing campaign.
