Hearts of Oak are observing injured talented midfielder Samudeen Ibrahim for Sunday’s trip to Medeama.

The new signing was named Man of the Match in their opening 1-0 win over New Edubiase United at home.

But Ibrahim suffered a foot injury and will miss a few days of training.

"He sustained a knock to the foot. At the moment we are taking him to the clinic to take an x-ray and do other investigations to verify exactly what is happening,” Hearts of Oak’s physiotherapist Okyere Baffour Agyei said.

"From there he shall know the extent of the injury and the recovery process.

"Hopefully we are hoping for the best and should just be some small contusion so we can carry on with treatment and return for our next game."

Ibrahim was named best player in the Division One League last season.
