In a bid to keep the playing body in shape despite the delay in the start of the Ghana Premier League, Accra Hearts of Oak have lined up two high profile matches over the weekend.
The Phobians will first pitch their strength against Division One side Vision FC at the Nii Amoah Akormasah pask inside Amrahia on Saturday at 10:00am.
This will be the very first time both teams are meeting as their paths have never crossed in any competition of friendly game. As usual both will be looking to carry the day in order to have the bragging rights ahead of future clashes.
Vision FC were billed to commence their Division One League match this weekend with an away game against, but the postponement of the league means that they have to make do with a friendly game instead.
Their choice of opponent couldn’t be any better as the Phobians are also on a path of self perfection ahead of the start of the league, (anytime the date is given).
Then on Sunday, Hearts travel to the Dawu Theater of Dreams to play against Ghana Premier League returnees and 2018 GHALCA G-8 Champions.
This will be the fifth meeting between both sides and as always, it promises to be exciting.
Hearts first played against Dreams in a friendly match in 2016 at the same venue before clashing in the league twice.
Their last meeting which is recent was at the final of the 2018 GHALCA G-8 tournament an action Dreams FC won.
Whereas the game against Vision FC will be free, fans will have to pay to watch the Dreams game.
