Reliable Hearts of Oak sources have told the authoritative sportscrusaderonline.com that Accra Hearts of Oak has released a cheque containing an amount of GH¢21,000 as compensation to its former manager David Duncan.
The amount was released to Duncan on Wednesday morning after a brief meeting with club heads.
The money was presented to the former Hearts of Oak manager who upon dismissal from the club dragged the club to the ethics committee of the Ghana Football Association to claim compensation from the club.
Duncan had also threatened to report Hearts to FIFA in the event that the club fails to pay him all compensations due him.
The GH¢21,000 represented three-month salary of David Duncan which the club as per their agreement with Duncan was obliged to pay after his sack.
Whilst at Hearts David Duncan received a monthly salary of GH¢7,000 including other allowances.
Duncan was the highest paid manager in the Ghana Premier League until he met his untimely dismissal from the club.
He has since been replaced by Mohammed Polo a former Ghana and Hearts of Oak legend
