Accra Hearts of Oak’s sporting director Joe Addo has been sacked by the management of the club, Starr Sports can confirm.
According to a club official, the services of the former Black Stars defender is no more needed at the club after being reassigned to the junior team, Auroras.
Addo was employed last season to secure sponsorship and help the club transfer players to Europe at the end of the season.
He failed to achieve any of his targets in the club after the Phobians played the entire season with just one sponsor.
“We don’t need his services anymore and therefore we decided to terminate his contract”, an official told Starr Sports.
