Former Ghanaian premier league champions, Accra Hearts of Oak have sealed a sponsorship deal with Japanese manufacturing company Polar Electro.
Polar Electro deals in the manufacture of sports training facilities and according to reports the Phobians finalized the deal with the Japanese outfit last week and has taken delivery of the first batch of equipment.
Coach of Hearts of Oak, Kenichi Yastuhasi who is a Japanese decent is believed to have played a role in securing the sponsorship.
“It is true we have signed a deal with Polar Electro, they will provide us with training facilities, the deal was signed last week and we have already taken delivery of the batch of the equipment, as for now I can’t disclose what is in the contract. But I want to assure all Hearts fans that in the coming weeks there will be more sponsors coming on board,” the source told Allsports.com.gh.
However, the source declined to confirm Kenichi Yatsuhasi’s involvement in securing the sponsorship.
Kenichi Yatsuhasi also took to twitter to confirm the deal:
