Accra Heats of Oak are still keeping an eye on Asante Kotoko striker Ahmed Toure.

The Phobians will consider a move for the 27-year-old who is yet to sort out his future with the Porcupine Warriors.

The Burkinabe international is yet to join the team’s preseason exercise after returning from holidays in his native country.

Toure who snubbed Hearts of Oak to rejoin Asante Kotoko prior to the start of the 2014/15 season has been reported not to be in the plans of Kotoko coach David Duncan ahead of the new season.

The player was reportedly linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League after failing to land a deal with Lebanese Club Nejmer.

Spokesperson of Accra Hearts of Oak Opare Addo says their doors are still opened for the former EL Guana forward.

“Ahmed Toure is one of the good strikers on the local scene so if he believes that he doesn’t want to have anything to do with Kotoko and he want to play for Hearts of Oak why not,” he affirmed to Accra-based Happy FM.

“We will give him the opportunity that is the reason why some time ago we wanted to sign him but unfortunately things didn’t work swiftly as we expected before he jumped over to Asante Kotoko.”

The striker finished the season as Kotoko’s top score after bagging 11 goals for the Club.
