Hearts to cast ‘gbeshi’ on Kotoko

Glorious Hearts of Oak plays host to the Porcupine Warriors Kumasi Asante Kotoko at the Accra sports stadium as the 2013/2014 Ghana Premier League enters week two.

Students-of-the-game and supporters of the two clubs alike has been caught in the cold by this pairing as it hardly comes too early in the season but nonetheless the two sides have promised to produce a pink sheet performance come tomorrow.

About eight years ago matches between these two sides did not produced exactly not an edge-of-the-seats performance as one can count not less than 40-50 throw ins in either half of the game. Apart from that defenders preferred sending balls straight into the ocean than controlling the game from the back.

However, in all fairness, at least for the past five years these clashes has produced one of the best of ‘clasico’ performance on the continent with the Porcupine Warriors sitting tall in the palanquin.

Asante Kotoko will storm the capital with crop of some of the best players one can find in the country in an attempt to grab all three points at stake but the phobians always have a secret for their bitter rivals and according to a source at the club the three points is seen under a cup of water staring at them already.

At the Robert Mensah Stadium in Cape Coast, Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs will welcome Sekondi Hasaacas. This is one the longest and interesting soccer rivalry’s in Ghana and soccer fans in the Central Regional Capital should expect nothing but a nail biting performance.

Dwarfs looks strong on paper but in football as soon as the first whistle is sounded, all analysis goes to bed and Hasaacas have found Cape Coast as a safe grounds a couple of times.

Soccer miners, Ashantigold fc will also entertain Scientific Soccer Lads Liberty Professionals. Liberty will give the host a good match but trust the soccer miners to carry the maximum point at stake.

Alhaji Grunsah’s King Faisal will play host to the giant’s killers, Kpando Hearts of Lions. Matches between these two sides regardless of the venue normally end in a stalemate.

New Edubiase united will travel to the Upper West to play as guest to Wa All Stars. Teams like All Stars prepare their position on the ladder before the start of the season with their mathematicians placing more emphasis on their home matches.
Medeama Sporting Club will welcome new entrant Bechem fc at the Tarkwa T&A Park. The home side is likely to carry all three maximum point at stake.

The giant of Brong Ahafo, Aduana Stars will play as host to new boys Inter Allies. No football analyst will shy to put his last coin on Aduana when playing at their favourite Agyeman Badu Park.

However, Amidaus Professionals will today play as host to Berekum Chelsea at the Tema Park. Chelsea though playing away can steal a point in this game.
