Hearts to host Africa Sports

Accra, March 24, GNA-Accra Hearts of Oak, fresh from their victorious continental outing against Stade de Malien of Mali last Sunday, will engage Africa Sports of Ivory Coast in an international friendly match at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday.

The Phobians who will be playing their first competitive game after Sunday's victory are expected to use the game to prepare for their second round Champions league tie against 'old foes", Aviacao of Angola scheduled to come on next month.

Africa Sports who are billed to play Kumasi Asante Kotoko in another friendly at the Kumasi Sports Stadium today are also scheduled to play Togolese champions, AS Douanes in the next stage of the Champion's league.

The game is therefore expected to afford both teams the needed test ahead of their various assignments.

Coach Ernst Middendorp is expected to parade his African squad made up of Sammy Adjei in post, Dan Quaye, Dan Coleman, Kwabena Boafo and skipper Amankwaa Mireku at the rear.

Meanwhile information reaching the GNA Sports from the Hearts secretariat indicates that the match to kick-start at 3:30pm will attract 20 thousand cedis as gate fees at the Upper terrace and the wings, whilst the popular stand will attract 10 thousand cedis.
