Ailing Accra Hearts of Oak are set to leave the shores of Accra on 12th December, 2015 for Libya to battle Ittihad Tripoli in a two-club international friendly.

The Phobians received an invitation from the Libyan top-flight last month and all is set for a showdown in the Libyan capital of Tripoli as the first friendly will be played on the 14th December while the second game comes off two days later.

Hearts of Oak will positively use the friendly game as a dress rehearsal ahead of the Ghana Premier League which has been tentatively scheduled for 10th January, 2015.

The game will also give Hearts of Oak trainer Kenichi Yatsuhashi a fair idea as to which players he will need for the upcoming Ghana premier league.

It will mark the third friendly under Kenichi after drawing one all with lowly ranked Sunshine Stars and losing 4-1 to Premier League counterparts WAFA.
