Accra Hearts of Oak will play their next three home matches behind closes doors after hooliganism on the part of the Club’s fans in their League game against WA All Stars.

Fans of the Club invaded the pitch with bottles of water in an attempt to express their displeasure about officiating in a game they lost 3-1.

The home fans were in disagreement with the decisions of center referee Ernest Baffi hence throwing bottles and sachets of water onto the turf.

The Rainbow Club has hence been ordered by the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association to play their next three home matches in an empty stadium.

The Club were further fined GH¢12,000 for the misconduct of the fans.

Hearts will thus play their home matches against Sekondi Hasaacas, Liberty Professionals and Dreams FC without the support of their fans.
