Hearts to take on Hassacas in a friendly on Sunday

Accra, Sept 15, GNA - Defending League Champions Accra Hearts of Oak, as part of their preparations towards their epic show down against local rivals Liberty Professionals on Wednesday, will take on Sekondi Hassacas in a friendly encounter at the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium. A statement signed Mr Ashford Tettey Oku, Administrative Manager of the club said the encounter would also be used to settle, once and for all, the issue of who is who between the two sides, as the two league matches they played all ended one goal apiece.

Hearts were initially scheduled to take on Liberty Professionals this Sunday in their 23rd week encounter at the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium but the Professional League Board on Wednesday pushed forward the matches to Wednesday, September 21 in wait for stranded King Faisal who are currently stuck in Rabat.

The PLB said the move was to forestall a situation were Faisal would have two outstanding GT Premier League matches, having in mind that their 22nd week match against RTU at the Kaladan stadium had been declared outstanding.

According to the statement, the VIP, Wings and Upper Terrace will attract 20,000 cedis, whilst Osu North and South and Popular Stands will go for 10,000 cedis.
