Hearts to unveil Gerald Ankrah as new MD

Hearts of Oak will officially unveil Gerald Ankrah as their new Managing Director in a ceremony which will also be used to also showcase the club’s new signings, GHANAsoccernet.com is reliably informed.

The Togbe Afede XIV led board will officially had the day-to-day administration of the club to Ankrah who will be replacing Neil Armstrong Mortagbe at a ceremony set to take place on Monday.

The Hearts board have decided to hand the administrative reigns to Ankrah after thorough consultations and considerations of other candidates including Kurt Okraku.

The Phobians have been without a substantive administrative head following the exit of Neil Armstrong Mortagbe back in July.

Board chairman Togbe Afede XIV have been doubling as the administrative head alongside club accountant Hackman Aidoo on an interim basis.

The club has now settled on Gerald Ankrah who is currently the Executive Director of the Ghana Independent Broadcaster Association (GIBA).

The official presentation is scheduled to take place next Monday at the premises of Metro TV who will be carrying the ceremony live.

The club will also use the ceremony to showcase their new signings; Issa Mumuni, Kwame Kizito, Seidu Mutawakilu, Abdoulaye Soulama and Foovi Aguidi.

Other signings expected to be completed including Richard Yamoah will also be unveiled once the deals are sealed.
