Hearts trio fined Gh¢500 each for misconduct

Hearts of Oak trio Kwaku Andoh, Selasie Adjei and Emmanuel Hayford have been fined Gh¢500 each for misconduct on match day 9.

The three players verbally attacked referee Yaw Ametepe and his assistants Joseph Sey and Samuel O. Boateng after their 1-0 defeat at AshantiGold.

A statement read: “In accordance with 35(3) (c), Players, Kwaku Andoh, Selasie Adjei and Hayford Emmanuel of Hearts of Oak are hereby fined Gh¢500.00 each.” The match was played at the Obuasi Len Clay and the result happened to be Hearts’ second defeat of the season.
