Board Member of Hearts of Oak Frank Nelson has assured fans of the club that they will pull out the chequebook and sign quality players before the 2015/2016 Ghana Premier League starts.

Fans of the club have grown restless as a result of lack of activity from their beloved club.

Brazil 2014 world cup goalkeeper Stephen Adams, a member of Ghana’s AFCON 2015 team Ernest Sowah and highly rated midfielder Latif Blessing were all linked with a move to the 2000 CAF champions League winners but have all been allowed to move elsewhere.

Frank Nelson who works on the board of Hearts of Oak and also on the executive committee of the Ghana Football Association says despite their failure in the transfer market so far, they will still make quality signings before the season starts.

“We know very well what we have to do and I am very certain that we will sign players before the market closes,” Nelson told CITI-SPORTS

“There are plans to add some experience to the team and I am very certain that the very quality players will drop in to help out the team."

Hearts of Oak finished the 2014/2015 Ghana Premier League season on 13th position and will be desperate to improve on their position in the next campaign.
