Former Accra Hearts of Oak Supporters Chief, Alhaji Akanbi, has fired a word of caution to New Edubiase United ahead of the two club’s match day one clash in the Ghana Premier League at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
The 19-time Ghanaian top flight champions will host New Edubiase, a side that has enjoyed relative success against Hearts in recent seasons on the opening day of the 2015/16 Ghana Premier League Season.
New Edubiase recorded back to back victories against the Phobians last season and Alhaji Akanbi thinks the Bekwai based club have no chance this season.
“New Edubiase will fall on Sunday by not less than 3 goals to nil”, Alhaji Akanbi told Accra-based Asempa FM.
He added that: “It is true New Edubiase have been a boogie side for us but this is a new Hearts and we are going to pay them back all the goals they have scored against us last season”.
