Asante Kotoko playmaker Michael Helegbe has been ruled out for a month after an ankle injury.
Helegbe sustained the injury during Asante Kotoko’s 2-1 win over Aduana Stars in Sunyani and head coach Mas-Ud Dramani, addressing a post-match press conference, confirmed the injury layoff period, adding that Helegbe is recovering at the moment.
“Michael got injured during our game against Aduana and will be out for a month. I can confirm to you that it is an ankle injury and at the moment he is recovering and should be back in a month’s time.”
The injury ruled Helegbe out of Asante Kotoko’s 1-0 win over archrivals Hearts of Oak on Sunday in Accra.
