Herbert Mensah To Go Unopposed!

The rebuilding and restructuring of Accra Hearts Of Oak Sporting Club has received a major boost following the call on the leadership of the club by most of the supporters to install the ace football administrator, Herbert Mensah as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the club.

The latest group of supporters to add their voice to the call is the Brong Ahafo Regional Charpters Committee (RCC). The hint was dropped by the Regional Organizer, Alhaji Hearts Jnr. in an interview on SPACE FM to throw more light on the impending RCC elections scheduled to take place in Sunyani on 10th January,2004 at Plush Tropical Hotel.“There would be a resolution to declare our unflinching support for Herbert as the CEO“, he said.

A painstaking investigation by SPACE FM has revealed that Mr. Isaac Tetteh (T&T Brothers) who was contemplating on vying for the topmost position would throw his weight behind Herbert if he (Herbert) emerges as a contestant at the congress scheduled to take place on 31st March,2004.

Herbert Mensah, affectionately reffered to as Roman Abramovich by Hearts fans emerged in the soccer scene to salvage Kotoko from near collapse in 1999. He switched camp to King Faisal last year when he was relieved from his position by Otumfour Osei Tutu II. He is now with Hearts Of Oak as the marketing and advertising Consultant but many believe he has the magic touch to lead the club to the promised land.

Stay tuned.
