How Ghanaian stars performed abroad

GERMANY

SCOTLAND
Hibernian managed a slender 2-1 win over Ross County. Arsenal loanee Daniel Boateng came off the bench in the 84th minute to play his first game for Hibs while Dutch-born Kevin Luckassen was introduced by Ross County on the 74th minute mark.
PORTUGAL
Vitória Guimarães sneak past Rio Ave with a 1-0 win. Ghana full-back David Addy played the entire 90 minutes of the game for Vitória Guimarães.
Haminu Dramani was not in the Gil Vicente team when they lost 2-1 to FC Porto at their own backyard.
In the Liga de Honra, Alhassan Wakaso played the entire 90 minutes for Portimonense who held Penafiel to a 0-0 draw.
CROATIA
Ghana’s Lee Addy played the entire 90 minutes for Dinamo Zagreb who beat Split 2-1 at their favourite Stadion Maksimir.
BELGIUM
Lokeren remain in the championship play-off place after managing a 1-1 draw at Gent. Ghanaian youngster Eugene Nana Ansah warmed the bench for Lokeren but Nana Akwasi Asare played the entire minutes for Gent.
Frank Acheampong missed Anderlecht’s 2-0 win over Mons with injury.
Genk recorded their second win in five games after beating Lierse SK 1-0. And, Ghana midfielder Bennard Kumordzi played in midfield for the Blues. Marvin Ofori-Appiah was not picked by Genk for the game.
Abdul Yakinu-Iddi was injured while French-born Jerry Vandam missed KV Mechelen’s 1-1 home draw with KV Oostende.
Injury kept Daniel Opare out of the Standard Liege team when they posted a 2-1 win over Sporting Charleroi. Former Heart of Lions midfielder Abraham Kudemor was not in the Sporting team.
Former Ghana U17 midfielder Enock Adu-Kofi was not picked by Club Brugge for their 3-1 home win over Kortrijk.
In the Second Division, midfielder Stephen Asamoah played for AS Eupen when they lost 1-0 at home to Mouscron-Péruwelz.
TURKEY
Richard Kingson manned the post for Bal?kesirspor when helped them to beat Gaziantep BB 1-0 to keep their title ambitions in sight.
Striker Kwame Karikari missed the game through injury.
Emmanuel Banahene was not in the 'anl'urfaspor when they lost 1-0 to Fethiyespor.
NETHERLANDS
FC Twente moved to second place after beating dethroned leaders Vitesse Arnhem 2-0 at the De Grolsch Veste. Winger Shadrach Eghan played 69 minutes for Twente while Christian Atsu was taken off after 79 minutes by Vitesse.
PSV Eindhoven won their third game on a row after beating Heracles Almelo 2-1. Half-Ghanaian Memphis Depay scored the first goal for PSV.
Kwame Quansah returned to the Heracles team but warmed the bench in the entire 90 minutes of the game. Matthew Amoah and Edwin Gyasi both did not travel with the team.
Cambuur continued their revival under Elvis Manu as they beat PEC Zwolle 3-1 and bombed themselves out of the relegation zone. Manu who is on loan from Feyenoord played the full 90 minutes but Fred Benson was not in the Zwolle team.

Kwame Nsor watched his Metz side from the screen when they managed a 0-0 away draw with Nîmes.
SPAIN
Richmond Boakye-Yiadom came off the bench to play the last six minutes of the game for Elche FC who drew 0-0 with Osasuna.
In Granada’s 1-0 win over Real Betis, youngster Fatau Mohammed played the entire duration of the game while Richard Boateng warmed the bench for them.
Hércules managed to beat Real Mallorca 1-0 at their own backyard. Atletico Madrid loanee Thomas Partey came off the bench to play the last 16 minutes of the game for Mallorca.
Goalkeeper Razak Brimah kept a clean sheet for Córdoba II when they beat Sevilla II 1-0 on Sunday afternoon.
Neither Isaac Appiah nor Isaac Asare was in the Atletico Madrid II team when Atletic Club II beat them 1-0.

Alfred Duncan played 76 minutes for nine-man Livorno who beat Cagliari 2-1 in an awa fixture.
