Dutch-born Ghanaian striker Brian Brobbey is determined to make his mark at Ajax and repay the club for their faith in him.

In a recent interview with Men's Health, the 22-year-old expressed his gratitude to the Amsterdam club and his desire to make them proud.

Brobbey, who came through Ajax's youth academy, left the club for RB Leipzig on a free transfer before being bought back.

Brobbey has been a standout performer for Ajax, scoring 21 goals and providing 10 assists in 39 matches.

The talented striker believes he is on the verge of reaching his full potential and has set his sights on achieving great things in his career, including playing for a major football club and representing the Dutch national team at the European Championship.

Brobbey is confident that a strong performance at the Euros will increase his value and help him repay Ajax for their investment in him.

"If I can score a goal at the European Championship, I will promote myself even more and increase my value," he said.

"I have always said: I am going to pay Ajax back. Of course, I left, but they brought me back. I want to make sure I have been worth it, by playing well for my club and scoring goals," he added.
