Former Medeama SC stopper Daniel Agyei, has vowed to win laurels with Tanzanian Premier League giants, Simba after signing for the Msimbazi Street side.
Agyei, played a part in Medeama’s fourth placed finish last season in the Ghana Premier League but is hoping to do much better with his new team.
The young goalie arrived in the country on Wednesday and passed a medical before signing a two-year deal with title-chasing Simba.
The former Ghana U-20 goalkeeper expressed his delight following a warm reception given to him by the club’s supporters and promised to play a major role to ensure they win titles. “I feel good about the reception from the supporters and they are friendly too.
“I haven’t met the players and the coaches,” Agyei said. “I am here to win trophies and also play Africa Champions League. I know the fans I have seen here know what I can do for the club. I will give my best for the team,” he added.
