Ghana and Kuban Krasnodar midfielder Rabiu Mohammed says he is delighted he has finally put behind him the injury issues which hampered his performance last season.

The 25-year-old has been one of the first names on Kuban’s team sheet this season after a rather injury plugged campaign last time out.

Rabiu had a good game against Terek Grozny over the weekend and says he is delighted to have finally put behind him the niggling injuries which affected his game in the past.

“It’s been a good season for me so far but I am really happy that the injuries which affected my performance in the past is gone,” He said

“We have had challenges as a team but we must pull through together and going forward try to give our all in every game.”

Kuban are sitting at a disappointing 14th on the Russian league table after 16 round of games but Rabiu has played in 14 of those 16, the best run he has had since joining the Russian side two seasons ago.
