The chairman of the Ghana League Clubs Association(GHALCA) Cudjoe Fianoo has stated that he unsurprised about reports that premier league giants Medeama and Bechem Chelsea are up for sale.
Reports emanated yesterday that both clubs are up for sale with the handlers of both teams citing financial difficulty as the main reason to embark on the selling course.
Cudjoe Fianoo asserts that managing clubs in the country is a herculean task and only few people can survive managing clubs in the country
“Managing clubs in the country is very difficult. You hardly make benefit from it. You can’t manage a club from your pocket for more than 6 years”. Fianoo said.
The announcement that both clubs are on the market has surprised many Ghanaians who see’s the teams as two of the most financially viable clubs in the country
