I am not worried by Black Stars snub - Agyeman

Medeama SC striker Louis Agyemang says he is not worried about his inability to make the Ghana squad for upcoming 2014 World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Zambia.

He told Kumasi-based radio station FOX FM that the squad named is a good one, adding that Black Stars coach Kwasi Appiah has picked players he has observed.

‘I am not too worried about not being selected for the Black Stars squad. It is a good squad though and it is based on what the coach has seen.’

Agyeman, who has scored 10 goals in the ongoing Glo Premier League, also told FOX FM that he will continue to work hard to make future squads, adding that the squads will continue to change with time.

‘This squad is not a static squad. It will change with time. I will continue to work hard and impress so that I will also get my chance in future squads in the future.’

Agyeman had a brilliant first round but his form tapered off a bit in the second round for Medeama, who now lie third in the Glo Premier League.
