Liberty Professionals skilful midfielder, Latif Blessing believes he is ready to establish himself if he earn a call up into the Black Stars.

After emerging as the top scorer with eighteen goals and being awarded as the best player of the 2015/16 season, many football pundits and analysts called on the Black Stars head coach Avram Grant to call up Latif Blessing in the Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier against the Cranes of Uganda but the midfield wizard couldn’t earn a call up.

Hearts of Oak defender Inusah Musah and Wa All Stars midfielder Emmanuel Ocran had the nod ahead of the Scientific Soccer Lads midfielder but Latif believes he is ready to establish himself if he earn a call up into the National team.

Speaking to Patrick Osei Agyemang on Adom TV’s Fire for Fire, Latif Blessing said, “I can play the Black Stars because I am a player and when I am being given the chance, I will prove myself.

“I want to be part of the Black Stars that will win something for the country so I am praying that I will earn a call up into the team so that I can also win something for the country.

Quizzed which team he will love to play abroad, he said, “Personally I would love to play for Arsenal or Liverpool.”
