I can get better – Ghana’s Acheampong

In-form Ghana winger Frank Acheampong is looking forward to a positive future after setting up two goals for Anderlecht in their 2-0 win over Gent over the weekend.

Acheampong, who emerged the man-of-the-match, is confident he can get to greater heights if he keeps his focus and form.

“I can do better for my club and for myself,” Acheampong told Voetballkrant. “I can do better. We had a lot of corrections to do on the left in the first minutes against Gent. We solved those things and did much better, I am comfortable with the left back role.”

“I’ve always had defensive and offensive qualities. I combine the two. It's different because I am very left footed, but I'm already used to it now. In training I work hard to be a better player,” the Ghanaian added.

The former Ghana Under-20 star has three assists under his belt in his last two games this season.
