Former Super Bantamweight champion of the world, Isaac Dogboe, has assured Ghanaians that he did not sustain any serious injuries in his defeat to Emmanuel Navarette of Mexico in their title fight on Saturday in Arizona, USA.
Dogboe suffered a 12th round TKO in a rematch with the Mexican, having lost his title to him late last year.
As early as the 3rd round, Dogboe could be seen wobbling and suffered heavy punches to his face and body throughout the fight.
He also suffered a cut to his left eye which resulted in a swollen face even before the end of the fight.
But the Keta native has taken to twitter to assure Ghanaians that he’s doing just fine.
” Thanks to God for the gift of life and Thanks to all my supporters and loved once, I appreciate you all. Unfortunately I came up short last night but I’m in good health no serious injuries. Will keep you updated as to what the future holds for #TeamDogboe,” he wrote.
