Former Vice President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), George Afriyie, says he is uncertain about running for the GFA presidency again.
George Afriyie, who contested incumbent Kurt Okraku for the first time in 2019, returned in 2023 to contest for the same position.
However, he was disqualified by the election vetting committee after some irregularities were sighted in his documents.
In an interview, George Afriyie told Graphic Sports, “Nobody knows tomorrow. I have not taken any decision yet, but in life, you just have to focus and do what you want to do, and then when there is time and opportunity to do anything, why not?”
“I just gave my opinion, and I said per what the CAS ruling is, I have accepted it, so we move,” he added.
George Afriyie's comments come after the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) dismissed his appeal against his disqualification from the GFA 2023 elections.
