Investigative Journalist Anas Aremeyaw has revealed his hate for football adding he never liked the game many people described as the passion of the world.
Most men are supposed to be football lovers due to the passion and the interest involves in the game that can attract over 70,000 fans to the stadium.
But for the investigative journalist who recently uncovered corruption in Ghana’s judicial system football is not part of his likes.
"I don't like saying this but I hate football. I have never liked it. I don’t understand why people get so worked up when their teams are playing….
So the only time you see me watching football is when Ghana is playing another country and perhaps I have colleagues and they have sent me messages because I have to reply to them so I have to know the score, but I am not a football person, Anas told Pulse Ghana.
“It was so bad, that I remember Ghana was playing in Germany and I was in Germany and was supposed to report. I went to the stadium and I stayed outside the stadium and wrote my story from outside the stadium because football is just not it for me. I don’t get it.”
"I would always pick basketball over football...the only thing perhaps I enjoy when it comes to football is its history and mysticism when it comes to Africa and the footballers and what they do."
