Head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak Kenichi Yatsuhashi have felt the frustration the club fans are going through regarding the club’s inability to win trophies.
In eight games to end the season, Coach Herbert Addo was given the sack for non-performance as goalkeeper’s trainer Eddie Ansah took over as a caretaker coach.
The former Premier League champions for the past six seasons have gone trophyless and narrowly escaped relegation last season as they finished 13th on the league log.
Japanese- American trainer Kenichi Yatsuhashi was appointed head coach of the Phobians in October ahead of the 2015/16 league season.
The 46-year old tactician in an interview with America Soccer acknowledged the frustrations of the fans in their quest for trophie insisting he will try his best to make them happy.
“The Hearts of Oak fans have been very frustrated. They want to see Hearts of Oak winning the league and also the FA Cup. Whether we can achieve that in my first year, I really don't know. I am trying my best,” King Keni said.
The Phobians are currently in Libya preparing ahead of the season.
