Medeama coach Samuel Boadu has stressed that he was confident of getting at least a point against Accra Hearts of Oak on Sunday.
The former Asokwa Deportivo boss indicated that he had believe in his charges deliver despite going down 1-0 at half time against the Phobians in Cape Coast.
“I knew we were definitely going to take at least a point in the game. It is unfortunate we conceded in the first half,” Boadu stated in the Post-match presser
“When we went for the break, I told the boys they were far better than Hearts of Oak and that they should come all out and play their heart out. The changes we made helped us to get the equalizer ”
Boadu also talked about his tactical approach and why he left skipper Tetteh Zuttah on the bench.
“It was a tactical decision, you cannot start with all your good players, sometimes you have to read the game and know the strong side of your opponent.”
“If you noticed, when he came in he made a lot of impact. We can even improve more but we are not thinking of winning the league , Our aim is developing players” He added.
